The History of Negative Gearing

We have witnessed during the elections of 2016 that there are both opponents and proponents of negative gearing in Australia. The opponents believe that the negative gearing would only make the rich investors richer by providing tax benefits, which would eventually create a vast social divide between the socio-economic classes.
